Lightelves photoclub was founded on the 20th of January 1996 in Reykjavík Iceland,
all of whom are greatly interested in photography and photo processing.
The objective of the group is to strengthen knowledge and professional ambition of its members
as well as introducing photography as an already growing art form.
When the members meet, photography is greatly discussed,
photos are criticised and the members often travel together.
Lightelves have held a few photo exhibitions, individually or as a group,both in Iceland and abroad.
They have published photos in newspapers, magazines and books.
They have participated in photo competitions in Iceland and internationally with good feedback.
The Lightelves have connection with some well-known foreign photographers
and has organized tours around Iceland, guided them and helped in many ways.

Fotoklubben Ljusälvor är en liten grupp som består av medlemmar
med gemensamt intresse av fotografi och mörkrumsarbete.
Vi vill också utveckla vår sans för komposition och motivval,
samt att foto kan vara en konstform.
